| INTRODUCEPT | Fundada em 1587 por três padres dominicanosespanhóis originalmente oriundos de Acapulco, no México, esta igreja está ligada à Confraria de Nossa Senhora do Rosário. Foi aqui que foi publicado o primeiro jornal português em solo chinês, "A Abelha da China", em 12 de Setembro de 1822. A torre sineira, situada na parte posterior do edifício, foi modificada para permitir a instalação de um pequeno Museu de Arte Sacra, que conta com um espólio de cerca de 300 artefactos. |
| INTRODUCEEN | Founded in 1587 by three Spanish Dominican priests who originally came from Acapulco in Mexico, this church is also connected to the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary. It was here that the first Portuguese newspaper was published on Chinese soil, A Abelha da China ("The China Bee"), on 12th September 1822. The bell tower, at the back of the building, has been modified into a small Museum of Sacred Art, now exhibiting a collection of around 300 artifacts. |
