Desde o dístico da entrada ao seu interior, pode-se aprender sobre a história da ilha, que já foi denominada de baía de sal e famosa pela sua produção de sal. O templo é dedicado à Imperatriz Kam Fa (Dama da Flor Dourada), Kun Iam e Va Kuong. Datado de há mais de 200 anos atrás, o templo foi construído pelos pescadores locais quando estes trouxeram a estátua da Imperatriz de Kam Fa para Coloane. Segundo a lenda, a imperatriz iria abençoar crianças com boa saúde, o que fez com que o templo atraísse muitos fiéis. Em 2002, o templo foi reconstruído após uma devastadora tempestade. O antigo sino de bronze tem um valor histórico e é precioso para o templo, mantendo-se como testemunho do passado. Aqui, na parte mais a norte da vila, também pode ver uma série de casas de palafitas tradicionais feitas de ferro e madeira ao longo da costa.", "Built in the 4 th year of the reign of Emperor Tongzhi (1865), the Temple is small in scale . From the couplet of the entrance, you may learn about the history of the island, which was once a salt bay and famous for its salt production. The Temple is dedicated to Empress of Kam Fa (Golden Flowers), Kun Iam and Huaguang Master. Dating back to over 200 years ago, it was the local fishermen who brought the statue of Empress of Kam Fa to Coloane and hence built the Temple. According to the legend, the Empress would bless children with good health, and therefore the Temple attracted many worshipers. In 2002, the Temple was rebuilt after a disastrous storm. The ancient bronze bell is of historical value and very precious to the Temple, standing as a witness to the old days. Here, at the northernmost part of the village, you can also see an array of traditional stilt houses built of iron and wood along the shore.", "0", "", "", "1", "CCFFBC9D7703476492CEFD87241AC099", "1", "1", "1", "1", "1", "1", "0", "0", "1" ], "ID": 100538 }
